The Z-Lens architecture offers a 50% reduction in volume and weight compared to previous models, enabling the creation of AR glasses that closely resemble standard eyewear in form and comfort. With a brightness of 1,400 nits/Watt and high resolution display, these glasses deliver clear and vibrant images even in daylight conditions .
Lumus will be demonstrating the Z-30 and Z-50 systems at the show. The current demo has ~1,500 nits/Watt, however in about 2 months it will achieve 7,000 nits/Watt.
A notable feature of the Z-Lens is its ability to directly bond prescription lenses. This integration allows users to experience AR without the need for bulky inserts, maintaining both visual clarity and aesthetic appeal.
Come and see the Z-Lens in action at AWE 2025 in Long Beach, California from June 10-12.
